I grew up in a single-parent household in Southern California alongside my two brothers and one sister. My mother was a teacher who worked tirelessly to provide for our family while instilling values that would shape the course of our lives. Although resources were not always abundant, the lessons she taught us were priceless.
From an early age, she emphasized the importance of respect, kindness, integrity, accountability, and understanding others. She often reminded us to seek first to understand before seeking to be understood, to honor our commitments, write down our goals, track our milestones, and always give our best effort in school and in life.
As a child, I was often the student who finished his work first and then found himself socializing with classmates, which occasionally got me into trouble. Looking back, I realize that connecting with people, understanding different perspectives, and building relationships were passions that emerged early in my life.
My mother also believed strongly in creating well-rounded experiences for her children. She made sure each of us participated in sports and learned a musical instrument. I played basketball throughout my youth and played the trumpet for four years during middle school and high school. Those experiences taught me discipline, teamwork, perseverance, and the value of consistent practice.
I was also fortunate to have six incredible uncles who served as positive male role models throughout my life. Each one carried a unique perspective and set of principles that influenced me in different ways. Together, they helped reinforce many of the values my mother taught at home and showed me the importance of character, leadership, and personal responsibility.
Years later, when the COVID-19 pandemic brought the world to a standstill, I found myself reflecting on a simple but powerful question: Who do I want to become?
While many viewed the pandemic as a period of uncertainty, I chose to view it as an opportunity for growth. I immersed myself in personal development and self-improvement, studying the ideas and strategies of some of the world’s most respected thought leaders. Books such as Rich Dad Poor Dad, The Secret, Be It Until You Become It, Atomic Habits, Humble Inquiry, and The 12 Week Year challenged me to think differently and expand my perspective.
I became fascinated with learning how successful people think, lead, communicate, and create meaningful impact. More importantly, I wanted to identify the lessons and principles that could help others unlock their own potential.
In late 2023, I received my first professional speaking opportunity in Dallas, Texas. Standing on that stage, sharing my story and lessons about personal growth, I experienced something that would change the direction of my life. At the conclusion of the presentation, I received a standing ovation from an incredibly supportive audience.
Afterward, the event host approached me and said something I will never forget:
“If your life purpose hasn’t been revealed to you yet, I’m telling you that this is it.”
Those words stayed with me.
Inspired by that experience, I decided to further my education and become certified through the International Association of Professional Life Coaches. I wanted to better understand the distinctions between a teacher, coach, mentor, psychologist, and mental health professional so I could serve people responsibly and effectively within my role as a life coach.
My goal was simple: when people were inspired by a presentation and asked, “What’s next?” I wanted to have the tools, knowledge, and framework to help them continue their journey of growth and transformation.
Today, I am honored to serve as a motivational speaker, certified life coach, and advocate for personal development. My mission is to help individuals move from where they are to where they are capable of being by encouraging growth, accountability, confidence, and purposeful action.
I am grateful to have shared messages of personal growth and self-improvement with thousands of people across the United States. Every stage, every conversation, and every coaching interaction is an opportunity to help someone discover new possibilities for their life.
This journey is only beginning.
My vision is to continue inspiring people around the world to pursue growth, embrace their potential, and become the best version of themselves; one decision, one habit, and one breakthrough at a time.
